Mardi Gras Parade & Festivities at the Little Rock Zoo
Join us for a fun-filled Mardi Gras celebration at the Little Rock Zoo! While Amos, our resident alligator, enjoys a nap during the party, come visit Gambit, our lively King Snake, in the Reptile House.
The Mardi Gras Parade kicks off at 10:00 AM at the bottom of Great Apes. We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Sharmin Moody, Chairwoman of the Little Rock Zoo Board, will be the Grand Marshal. The parade will feature Mardi Gras-themed decor, decorated golf carts, and our Zoo staff leading the way. Guests are encouraged to join the fun by decorating their strollers or pull wagons (please no balloons, beads, or plastic).
Celebrate the spirit of Mardi Gras with live music and a special Mardi Gras menu at Café Africa from March 1st to 4th.
All Mardi Gras festivities are included with your Zoo admission, so come ready to join the celebration!
