The Zoo Invites Tornado Victims to Gather with Family at the Zoo
LITTLE ROCK (April 6, 2023) – The Little Rock Zoo will offer free admission this weekend (Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9), to those affected by tornados that hit the state March 31. Free admission will be granted for a party of up to four (4) people. Guests can simply state at the Zoo’s front gate that they have been impacted by the tornado to receive free admission.
The Little Rock Zoo was fortunate to not withstand any damage from the dangerous storms that swept across central Arkansas and other parts of the state on March 31. The Zoo is proud to serve our community by providing free admission this weekend to comfort those who are suffering loss after this devastating event.
“The Zoo family is proud to serve our larger community by providing a safe gathering place where families can relax and reconnect with one another after facing such a traumatic event,” said Zoo Director Susan Altrui.
The Little Rock Zoo will be open Saturday, April 8, and Sunday, April 9, during normal operating hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
