The Zoo Invites the Public to the Passport to Fun: Spring Break 2023
LITTLE ROCK (March 14, 2023) – The Little Rock Zoo is excited to invite the public to its Passport to Fun: Spring Break 2023 celebration this year. From March 17 to March 26, 2023, the Zoo will be the venue for families with an eye on education, conservation, travel, and fun! The Zoo’s passport theme for spring break will have guests “travelling” to various areas throughout the Zoo to experience the amazing abilities of animals. From animals’ super intelligence to super sight to extreme speed- the Zoo will be the place to be amazed by and learn about animals’ wonderful abilities. The Zoo hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day with special spring break programming featured at various times during each day.
This year’s spring break schedule aims to teach guests about the world’s diversity of animals through its collection representing several countries and at least five continents. The entire week will be action-packed with ways to engage, learn and play. Various animals will be highlighted at the amphitheater shows as guests learn new information on animals’ interesting characteristics- superior sight, sharp hearing, incredible movement and extraordinary strength. From travel-themed entertainment, live music by Harp, face paintings, daily penguin feedings, elephant chats, to dynamic amphitheater shows—the Zoo will feature animals, new insights, and new ways to engage with your Little Rock Zoo!
While at the Zoo, guests can enjoy food, snacks and drinks from food trucks and other options including Flossie’s, Whitworths BBQ, W and M Concessions, The Breezy Scoop Italian Ice, Tacos Godoy, and Café Africa. Guests can also end their travel day by and picking-up souvenirs and gifts at the Safari Trader Shop. The Arkansas Diamond Express and Over-the-Jumps Carousel will also be in operation.
Come enjoy the Passport to Fun during spring break at the Little Rock Zoo! Tickets can be purchased at the Zoo gate.
