The Little Rock Zoo Thanks Sponsors for Dream Night

LITTLE ROCK (May 13, 2019) – The Little Rock Zoo is proud to announce a unique opportunity to spend time enjoying the Zoo.   On Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 6-8pm, the Zoo will host Dream Night at the Zoo, sponsored by Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Health Scope Benefits, GarverGives, and Chad Causey.  This sold-out event is an evening designed exclusively for families of children with special needs or chronic healthcare issues.  Invited children and their families will experience the Zoo free of charge and without concern for social stigma or issues related to accessibility. This incredible evening is already sold out—three days in advance!

The Little Rock Zoo also wishes to invite all our local media outlets to this event to celebrate, support, and promote the cause of special needs children and their families.  We know that it is education and positive exposure provided by the media that can help to deter the events and effects of social stigma.
