The Zoo Invites the Public to its Award-Winning Fundraiser

LITTLE ROCK (April 15, 2024) – The Little Rock Zoo is happy to announce its annual Wild Wines event at the Little Rock Zoo. On Friday, April 26, 2024, from 7-9 pm, the Zoo will host the Wild Wines VIP party. Then on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 7-10pm, the Zoo will host the “Mane” event. Both nights are sponsored by presenting beverage sponsor, by O’Looney’s Wine & Liquor. 

Hosted by Zoo Director, Susan Altrui, the event will feature several food items from the area’s best restaurants paired with hand-selected wines from presenting beverage sponsor, O’Looney’s Wine & Liquor. Each night of the two-night event will include live music areas, animal encounters, great food and exquisite wine selections.  

The Friday Night VIP party will happen in and around Café Africa and the Civitan Pavilion. This exclusive evening will be highlighted by premium wines and food selections from Central Arkansas’ best including the likes of Petit and Keet and Cypress Social, 42 Bar and Table, Yaya's Euro Bistro and many more.   Friday night VIP tickets include admission to the Saturday Night “Mane” Event. 

The Saturday night “Mane” event is the party the public has grown to love at the Little Rock Zoo with more than 200 wines to sample and food from a large variety of area restaurants.   Food selections for the “Mane” include: Cantina Laredo, Big Bad Breakfast, Slim Chickens, Moe's Southwest Grill, Tacos 4 Life, and many more. 

Another feature of the evening will be an online silent auction. Silent auction items include items like the following: beautiful jewelry from Sissy's Log Cabin, paintings painted by Little Rock Zoo animals; Zookeeper-for-a-day, Veterinarian-for-a-day, restaurant packages, and many others.
