Price: Included with Admission

Celebrate World Binturong Day at the Little Rock Zoo!

Ever heard of a binturong? These unique animals, often called "bearcats," are neither bears nor cats—they're fascinating creatures with thick fur, long tails, and a scent that resembles popcorn! Native to the forests of Southeast Asia, binturongs play an important role in their ecosystems by spreading seeds and maintaining forest health.

Join us on May 10th for World Binturong Day and get to know these incredible animals up close!

Did you know that binturongs use their prehensile tails to climb trees? Or that they’re one of the few carnivores that love eating fruit? Learn all about their unique adaptations and the conservation efforts helping to protect them with special keeper talks and fun binturong-themed activities.

All activities are included with regular admission—don’t miss this chance to celebrate one of the most unique residents at the Little Rock Zoo!
