Fish Feeders Available – Weather Permitting

Enjoy a peaceful moment at one of our koi ponds—located at the Zoo entrance, near the siamang exhibit, and along the back side of the Zoo. For just 25 cents, you can feed our colorful koi and watch them gather for a quick snack. It’s a simple, relaxing activity any guest can enjoy.

Where are the fish feeders? Fish feeders are placed at the koi ponds when the weather is warm. During inclement weather or when temperatures drop, we remove them. As the water cools, the koi become less active and eat less—excess food in the pond during this time can cause water quality issues, so the feeders are taken down seasonally.
