Be Part of the Capybara Comeback!

Meet the Capybara (Cap-ee-BAR-ah)
They’re back! The world’s largest-and friendliest- rodents are returning to the Little Rock Zoo with an all-new habitat as part of Project Zoo.
Capybara’s once called our Zoo home, and now they’re making their grand return-bringing big energy and even bigger smiles.
Conservation in Color
To celebrate, we’re partnering with the world-renowned Cracking Art Collective, known for their vibrant animal sculptures made entirely from regenerated plastic. Two dozen custom-made capybara sculptures will soon pop up around the Zoo- ready for hugs, selfies, and sustainably inspired fun.
Sponsor a Sculpture
A limited number of these whimsical works are available for sponsorship at $5,000 each. Your sponsorship supports:
- Capybara conservation in the wild
- Zoo exhibit improvements through Project Zoo
- Hands-on art that inspires sustainable living
Sponsors receive invitations to grand opening & a private sneak peek, recognition on donor signage, a framed certificate and a professional photo with your sculpture.
