World Parrot Day is dedicated to the conservation and protection of parrot species around the world. Parrots are essential to the ecosystems in which they live. They are considered gardeners of the forests because they disperse seeds, pollinate plants, manage vegetation overgrowth, and control pests. By helping to conserve parrots, we are helping to safeguard the biodiversity of their regions.
