The Little Rock Zoo is hosting an Eclipse Experience that you will not want to miss!

The Great American Eclipse will be Monday, April 8, 2024 and the Little Rock Zoo will be one of the greatest places to view the solar eclipse in Central Arkansas. Your pre-purchased ticket includes zoo admission and eclipse glasses that will allow you to view the solar eclipse safely.

Come enjoy local entertainment, learn about solar eclipses with our experts and watch this memorable phenomenon with our animals. Zoo admission gives guests the opportunity to watch with resident animals to see how they react to this miracle of Mother Nature.

Activities will include:

9:00 AM-11:00 AM Information kiosk: sharing information about the eclipse

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Citizen Science Center open with eclipse activities

2:30PM -3:30 PM Information Kiosk: what did guests observe?

The eclipse begins in Little Rock at 12:33PM with maximum totality at 1:52PM and ends at 3:11PM. Total obscurity of the sun will occur in Little Rock for several minutes and the eclipse phenomenon will happen for a duration of 2 hours and 38 minutes! The last total eclipse crossing Arkansas was in 1918 and the next one will be in 2045. Tickets are limited so buy one today to see it at the 2024 Great American Eclipse at the Zoo!

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Memberships and free passes will not be honored on the day of the event. Children 2 and under are free. Zoo parking is first come, first served and not guaranteed.
