LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 28, 2025) -Join us Saturday, June 7, as we commemorate 100 years of wildlife and wonder with a full day of special activities, family fun, and community celebration from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We will start the day with a recycling event! From 9 a.m. to noon, the Zoo and partners, the City of Little Rock Sustainability Office, and Keep Little Rock Beautiful, will host a community recycling drive. Acceptable recyclable items include documents, e-waste, plastic bags and wraps, glass, bicycles, and housewares. A complete list is available online.
Thanks to the Little Rock Community Day sponsor, Southern Bancorp, residents of Little Rock will receive discounted Zoo admission of $2 with proof of residency (driver’s license, state-issued ID, or utility bill). Little Rock residents receive the discount as a thank you for their tax dollars that support the Zoo. Parking will be available for just $1. While the discount is for Little Rock residents, all visitors- no matter where they live– are welcome!
In addition to Little Rock Community Day and the recycling event, the Zoo will kick off its centennial celebration with several activities for the entire family to enjoy, including crafts for kids, face painting, a parade (where all are invited), and a costume contest. There will also be birthday cupcakes and treats, while supplies last.
“As we celebrate 100 years of the Little Rock Zoo, we’re not just looking back—we’re looking forward to the next century of impact. Our future is
