The Little Rock Zoo is excited to celebrate Juneteenth at the Zoo for 2023.  Our observance of Juneteenth is a natural fit with our diversity values which we state below, 

"Our strength comes from our diversity and we welcome diverse audiences. We understand that diversity makes our organization more relevant, stronger, more successful and better able to achieve our mission to inspire people to value and conserve our natural world. To this end, the Little Rock Zoo recognizes, embraces and celebrates human diversity and works to foster social and racial justice, equity, access and inclusion."

Our observance also falls in line with the Zoo's vision which states, "We vision a word where nature is in balance and all living things thrive."  

On Juneteenth (June 19, 2023),  each visitor to the Zoo will receive a $2 discount on admission.
