It’s Our Centennial Year, and We’re Celebrating Birthdays All Year Long!

The Little Rock Zoo is turning 100, and we want to share the birthday fun with you! As part of our centennial celebration, we’re offering a unique birthday program for our young visitors.

Free Admission for Birthday Kids!

Is your child celebrating a birthday? Kids aged 3-12 can enjoy a free day at the Zoo with the purchase of an adult ticket. Just let the attendant at the entrance know that it's your child's birthday at the gate, and let the adventure begin!

Birthday Button

Every birthday child will receive a celebratory birthday button to wear proudly during their visit. This button lets everyone know they’re celebrating, making their day even more memorable!

How to Claim Your Free Admission

1. Plan Your Visit: Bring your child to the Zoo any day during the month of their birthday throughout our centennial year.
2. Get Your Button: Pick up the birthday button at the entrance and start exploring!
3. Have a Blast: Let the wild adventure begin and make some unforgettable memories!

Birthday Party Options at the Zoo

As of the end of 2023, the Zoo no longer offers birthday party packages. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our animal residents, we kindly ask that outside food, drinks, balloons, and ice chests be left at home or enjoyed outside of the Zoo.

If you’d like to celebrate with a group visit, consider booking group admission and pre-ordering lunches from the Café. Many families also enjoy using the picnic area in our overflow lot for treats and meals. Please keep in mind that this space cannot be reserved or decorated.

For a more private experience, the Civitan Pavilion is available for rental on a limited basis at a rate of $1000 for a 4-hour minimum. This includes both setup and teardown time, with additional fees for extra time beyond the initial 4 hours. Catering is allowed with prior approval and a signed catering agreement. Outside food and drinks are not permitted unless catering is arranged. Please also note that there is no heated or cooled food storage available on-site.
