Zoo Crew

The Zoo Crew is a fun group of volunteers at the Little Rock Zoo that help with the Zoo’s special events.  Zoo Crew volunteers plan, set-up, and work events such as Boo at the Zoo and Christmas in the Wild.  Our Zoo Crew volunteers are critical to the success of our events and we welcome new volunteers all the time!  Zoo Crew is also a great way to meet new people and associate with friends while doing something to help the Little Rock Zoo!  Here are some examples of Zoo Crew volunteer opportunities:

Wild Wines of the World

Wild Wines of the World takes guests on a culinary tour around the world pairing fine food with fine wine.  Fine dining restaurants from the area's top establishments offer delicious food paired with wines from unique locations. Food and wine stops are arranged around the Zoo for the after-hours event for adults only. Volunteers are needed to help plan Wild Wines and to run the event the day-of.

Earth Day party for the planet

It's a Party for the Planet and you're invited! The Little Rock Zoo is committed to conservation education and our Earth Day celebration is a fun way to learn how we can each do our part to save our planet and protect the many species of animals living in it.  Zoo Crew volunteers are used during our Earth Day celebration for a number of tasks such as staffing our conservation table to pass-out information on wildlife conservation to guests.

Chili Cook-off
