The Little Rock Zoo is a proud department of the City of Little Rock but it is only through a  partnership with the community that our state's only zoo can continue to grow and develop.  Through philanthropic giving you and your organization can make change happen for this important istitution.  

Donations from individuals, corporations, family foundations, and grant making organizations make a tremendous difference to the Little Rock Zoo.  Private donations to the Arkansas Zoological Foundation, a 501 c (3) non-profit and the fundraising arm of the Little Rock Zoo, are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.*  The Little Rock Zoo has numerous opprotunities for giving that allow our donors to make an immediate and significant impact on the Zoo.

Zoo Master Plan for Change

If you want to make the Little Rock Zoo into a world-class Zoo there's never been a more critical time to let your voice be heard.  The Little Rock Zoo is planning for the future and we need your input and help!  By making an investment in our state's only Zoo we have the opportunity to build a world-class facility that is top in its class for wildlife conservation, education, and family recreation.  



The Little Rock Zoo is excited to announce that construction is underway for the Laura P. Nichols Penguin Pointe Exhibit.  This exciting new habitat will feature both above water and underwater viewing of African Penguins in an exhibit made to mimic the shoreline of South Africa.  A grand opening on this exhibit is planned for 2010.  You can still make a donation to the Laura P. Nichols Penguin Pointe to show your support for this exciting new exhibit!

You can also help the Little Rock Zoo by leaving the Arkansas Zoological Foundation in your will or trust.  If you would like to make a planned gift to the Little Rock Zoo, please contact our development department with more information on our Planned Giving Society.  Members of our Planned Giving Soceity receive special benefits year-round and special recognition.
