Includes any device that involves food in any way. This incorporates presenting varied or novel food types or changing the method of food delivery. Keepers present food in different ways - puzzle feeders, scattered in the enclosure or hidden in different substrates. Animals must use foraging behaviors and/or mental puzzle solving skills in order to get the food. By presenting various types of food or delivering the food in different ways stimulates natural behaviors that they would use in the wild.
